Newly refinished stairs needed something to protect the finish from family members who always wear shoes in the house. The treads don't shift around, and are soft on my bare feet. Love them. May even purchase an extra set just for a bit of variety during the change from winter to summer. Highly recommend them.
These treads are everything they are presented as being. I am so pleased with this product. They grip so well, you can't move once it's down, they just will not slide, no matter how hard you try. Pull it up, position it and then lay it down. My cat has begun to sharpen her claws on the top tread on the staircase. It shows no wear and has not moved. Thanks for this wonderful product.
I ordered these for my newly installed hardwood stairs. I wanted something that would not ruin the stairs with sticky glue but i also needed them to stay in place for a 135 lb rottweiler going up and down stairs. they stay in place perfectly. they do not move at all and the backing is really nice. These treads will serve me well for years.
I was very skeptical about how well these would stick to my hard wood stairs, but have no fear!! They work perfectly! It's pretty amazing to be honest. My dogs are running up and down the stairs without hesitation and my 81 year old father was so pleased as he feels safer coming up and down the stairs too. I vacuumed them with my Dyson and it has quite the suction power and the treads didn't move at all. I highly recommend this product!!

We have hardwood floors and two large standard poodles that are getting older. Both of the dogs have repeatedly fallen down the stairs as did I right after knee surgery. I was skeptical of this product and read many of the reviews before deciding to purchase them. (I might have even had buyers remorse after the purchase). But then they came and we simply laid them down on the wood steps. They do not slip or slide and stay in play perfectly! The dogs don't panic any longer when they have to come down the stairs. The carpets were totally worth the price! Now that said, I called first and talked to a very nice lady about the difference between this product and the carpets you tape down because I was worried about slips. She reassured me they would not slip or slide. Love these rugs...and they are a very nice quality! I was also concerned about that as we have very nice middle eastern rugs right below the stairs and in the living room. These stair covers look like they fit right in!
