This is hands down one of the best purchases I have made. We moved from a ranch to a 2 story and our St. Bernard mix had such trouble navigating the wood steps. The stair treads fixed that issue completely. They stay in perfect place and look beautiful!
We are in a new home with a beautiful floating wood staircase and the stairs were deadly for our 55 lb Portuguese Water Dog. She kept slipping down the stairs and falling all the way to the bottom. Being a little bit skeptical, we ordered these treads and thought we should also order the double-sided gripping tape just in case they did not hold well. The pet friendly carpet treads are wonderful and absolutely stay in place, no matter who is walking on them. We did not need the extra gripping tape at all. The treads lift up easily if necessary and do not mark the wood at all. They are a pretty addition to our floating, open staircase and I would absolutely recommend them to you.
We had new wood floors installed and although they were lovely, my little French Bulldog had a terrible time with them. I was afraid she might break her leg - and then I fell too. My research for a solution led me to Dean. My daughter didn't want to have to tape the new floors and was pretty skeptical about the "tape-free" aspect. We are both so pleased with these. It is nice to feel safe and also to know that they look great. Five stars!
This is the second set of pet friendly stair treads I have purchased from Dean’s. These are just as beautiful and functional as my previous set. We have a senior lab, and he started having difficulty walking up and down the stairs. With these stair treads, he is able to continue to walk up and down the stairs without slipping.
