We debated on whether to try carpet treads or to get a professionally-installed stair runner. We had tried some inexpensive carpet treads in the past and were not pleased. These stair treads are amazing. They cover the stairs well, they don't move, and they look completely professional. Our dog has managed to outwit every rug grip we have used in our home, but these have stayed in place. These are far better than a full carpet runner. We could not be happier.
