Ordered these because my dog is getting older and still tries to run down the stairs and I was worried she was going to get hurt since she has fallen twice coming up the stairs. They not only work for that reason they also look really nice and feel very comfortable when walking on them and seem to be safe and stable and don't move. Overall very happy!
I ordered the pet-friendly treads for my 1890's staircase and Victorian home. I wanted something that would look nice, help my lab on the steps (he slides), and blend into the history of my home. I was hesitant as to how they would look but I think I'm ready to be the Deans' spokesperson now that I have them! They look amazing, are incredibly soft and so much thicker than I expected. And they truly work exactly as Dean's said - they simply are put on the steps and they hold and do not damage the wood! I love them! It's only been about a month but I am looking to take them up the stairs to the loft now too.
