Works great. Backing is a little tricky to remove, but not too bad after the first one. Easy install.
The mesh two way tape was easy to work with, unlike other tape that sticks to itself and turns your life into some sort of cartoon. It is exactly the right width for stairs, so you only need to make one cut per step. At first I didn't see how it could possibly hold, but it works like a charm.

It looks great and seems to have taken care of the skidding problem. It was a good alternative to the whole stair runner that we definitely did not want. It was also very reasonable in price.
Thought this mesh tape best for my application and so far it's proven to be true. Easy to cut to size and piece out. Installation a breeze and easily reset if necessary. Very happy with the results.
